She was born October 4, 1962 in Ogden, Utah to Julian and Fay Green. She grew up in Roy and graduated from Roy High School in 1980.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and belonged to the Roy Tenth Ward. She was endowed in the Ogden Temple in 1987.
Emily worked as an office manager with Mountain Alarm and at Stacey Enterprises. She retired early due to health problems.
Emily was a favorite aunt and had many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She enjoyed spending time with them and always had fun things planned for them when they visited.
Emily was preceded in death by her father, Julian R. Green. She is survived by her mother, Fay Green; a brother, Max (Debbie) Green; four sisters, Ann (Paul) Buys, Marie (Gary) Tolman, Julie (Dale) Allen, and Charlotte (Jeff) Woody; seven nephews, nine nieces, and many great-nephews and nieces who loved her dearly.
Honoring her wishes, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at the Roy City Cemetery. In the case of inclement weather, the graveside will be moved to Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
