The Greathouse family of the late Paul Richard Greathouse would like to announce his peaceful passing at Clay Health Care Center in Ivydale, West Virginia on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the age of 75 years.
Paul was loving husband, father and grandfather and leaves behind to mourn his children: Richard Greathouse of Clendenin, WV, Raymond Greathouse and daughter-in-law Stacia Du Hart-Greathouse (Raymond’s wife) of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada. He also leaves to mourn granddaughter Josie Mae Greathouse, his sister-in-law Janet Collins and loving circle of extended family.
Paul was predeceased by his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon Kay (nee Boggs) Greathouse (2009); his parents Paul and Zadia Greathouse and his father and mother-in-law Stanley and Marie Boggs.
Paul was born and raised in Richwood, West Virginia. He met his wife Sharon also in Richwood where they married and raised their family of two sons. In his later years he left Richwood to live with his son Richard in Clendenin and finally he moved into the Clay Health Care Center in Ivydale, West Virginia. His family will enjoy the memories of his love of music with his passion of playing the mountain dulcimer with his band
