RED HOOK- Lester Donerly, 77, a resident of Upper Red Hook, died March 8 at Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck.
Born in the Town of Clermont, Oct. 19, 1895, he was the son of George and Christina (Potts) Donerly. Prior to retiring several years ago, Mr. Donerly had been a self-employed painting contractor. He was a lifemember of St. John's Reformed Church, Upper Red Hook. His wife, the former Florence Hoyt, died Sept. 14, 1966.
Surviving are a son, G. Hoyt Donerly, Red Hook four granddaughters; two great-grandchildren and several cousins.
Funeral services were March 10 at the Burnett and Rockefeller Funeral Home, Red Hook. The Rev. Roger E. Leonard officiated. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery.
