He was predeceased by his daughter, Riley Kay Franklin; parents, Eugene and Nadine Brown Franklin; sister, Gena Franklin Johnson.
Survivors are his wife, Christina Y. Franklin of Jesup; a son, Levi Franklin of Jesup; two brothers, Mark Franklin of Screven and Ricky Franklin of Jesup; two nieces, Krista Franklin and Heather Johnson and other relatives.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Ray Worley and Rev. Rodney O'Quinn officiating.
