Retired MSGT. Barry D. Hill, 68 of Blanchard, passed away at Select Medical Hospital in Danville on May 14, 2019.

He was born on February 9, 1951 in Jersey Shore, the son of Bernard and Bernice Hill. He was a 1969 graduate of Jersey Shore High School and served 31 years in both the Marines and Army Reserves. He was a veteran of both Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Hill. Surviving are his wife, Donna and his sons, Barry (Jamie) Hill, Jr. of Pottstown; daughter Cathy (Mike) Crawford of Rote, and two step-sons, Scott (Jacque) Spotts and Shannon Spotts.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his memory be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in is name.

A viewing will be held on May 20, 2019 from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Howard, Pa. 16841. Burial with military honors will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Anneville.
