William E. Schenck, 96, of Madison, N.J., a former Fulton resident, died last Monday (Jan. 26) in Orange, Calif., where he had been spending the winter with his daughter, Mrs. Marcia Crane. Mr. Schenck was born in Fulton, the son of a pioneer Fulton family, and was a prominent attorney. He had practiced law in New York City or many years. He was a member and honorary elder of the Presbyterian Church in Madison, N.J. He was a 63-year member of the Madison Masonic Lodge and had served as lodge master.Surviving, besides his daughter,are several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gardner Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in St.Mary's Cemetery,
