Sharon R. Bishop, 75, of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Aspirus Medford Hospital. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 21 at the United Methodist Church of Christ. Pastor Angel Rosario officiated. Visitation was held that morning at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be held at the Flora Cemetery in Slabtown at a later date.
Sharon was born on Sept. 22, 1943 in Beetown. She loved to play bingo and Yahtzee, scratch lottery tickets and drink Pepsi. She loved her family and was always there to lend a helping hand. She will be missed by many.
Sharon is survived by her children, Teresa (Chuck) Wyatt of Clarksville, Tenn., Robert and Chad Bishop and Everett Strohbush, all of Medford and Eric Bishop of Lancaster; sisters, Delores Moneypenny of Eau Claire and Phyllis Leeser of Fennimore; brother, Everett (Joan) Edgington of Fennimore; sister-in-law, Carol Cederholm of Medford; nine grandkids; four great-grandkids; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
