Bernice was united in marriage to Lloyd "Bud" Reed on August 30, 1947 and together they raised four children in Cloquet. She was employed at Diamond Match Company for 25 years. Bernice and Bud spent the winter months in Apache Junction, AZ for 17 years. She loved to bake cakes with lemon filling and was known as the "cake lady".
Bernice was welcomed into heaven by her parents; husband of 59 years, Lloyd "Bud" Reed; infant brothers, Joseph and Daniel Colpaert; sisters, Rachel Landro, Josie Loisel, Betty Townsley.
She is survived by her children: Janice (Gary) Southerton, Rick (Beth) Reed, Renee (Tom) Sheetz and Joanne (David) Joice; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment will be held in New Calvary Cemetery
