Mrs. William (Nancy) M. Kappelman, age 63, of Manitowoc, died Monday evening, Dec. 19, 2005, at her residence after a quick and courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 916 Pine St., Manitowoc. The Revs. Paul Schossow and Loren Lindeman will officiate, with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 310, Manitowoc.

The former Nancy Guetschow was born Nov. 8, 1942, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Arthur and Grace Sorenson Guetschow. Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers. On Dec. 4, 1965, she was married to William J. Kappelman at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. Prior to her marriage, Nancy worked for Hamilton Manufacturing in Two Rivers, and after
her marriage, she worked at the Manitowoc Clinic, Rex Clean, and also, with her husband, ran the Kappelman Potato Farm. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Ladies of Immanuel. Nancy enjoyed reading, gardening, genealogy and her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister-in-law: Ruth Topp.
Relatives and friends may call at The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State St., Manitowoc, on Wednesday (TONIGHT), from 4 until 8 p.m., and on Thursday at church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated for Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church or Manitowoc Lutheran High School.

A special thank you to the staff of Aurora Medical Center, VNA,... for their wonderful care shown to Mom during her final months.
