Carolyn S. Beaty, 79, of Lakeview, OH passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Lima Memorial Health Systems with several of her loving members of her church family by her side.
Carolyn was born on March 21, 1940 in Lima, OH, a daughter of the late Ralph Harrod and Ruby Maze Harrod Davis. Carolyn married William E. Beaty on March 21, 1987 in Lewistown, OH and he preceded her in death on February 11, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Cecil H. Davis, and brother-in-law, Ralph Harrod, Jr.
She is survived by a niece, Paula Zepernick of Oakwood, OH, her sister-in-law, Otila Harrod of DeGraff, members of her church family of Hope Harbor Church including Ann Cumbo, Pastor Fred and Marvena Albert, Wendy Wilson, and Connie Cooper, and her little dog, BJ.
Carolyn was a member of Hope Harbor Baptist Church. She previously worked at Homecoming Restaurant and Aunt Millie’s. Carolyn enjoyed cooking and was known for her potato salad. She also enjoyed taking her dog, BJ, on walks and fishing with Bill. She loved going to Bible Study.
Pastor Fred Albert will begin funeral services at 10:00 am, Monday, April 29, 2019 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given in her name to Hope Harbor Baptist Church.
