Duane Charles Doolittle, 79, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, Sterling Township, passed away at his home on Monday, September 25, 2017. Duane was born on October 12, 1937 in Sterling Township the son of Ralph J. and Blanche L. (Hoover) Doolittle.

Duane leaves to celebrate his memory: his wife of 58 years, Charlotte of St. Croix Falls, WI; children, Kim (Mike) Maguire, St. Croix Falls, WI; Jon (Ann) Doolittle, Cumberland, WI; Lyle Doolittle, St. Croix Falls, WI; Beth (Loren) Walters, Fort Worth, TX and David (Pam) Doolittle, Wake Forest, NC, grandchildren, Angie Henrich, Ryan Christensen, Darren Christensen, Keaton Doolittle and Taylor Doolittle, great grandchildren, Aiden Anderson, Drew and Andy Henrich, Ava and Brooke Christensen, Zach, Sadie, Holden, Smith and Olive Christensen, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Blanche, his older sister, Hazel Mae Anderson and her husband Edward and his baby sister Eleanor Louise Doolittle.

Duane provided for his family with farming and driving school bus. He actively supported his church in service to his Lord and Savior. Duane enjoyed competing in softball and bowling throughout his life.

He supported his community by serving on many boards including school, church, creamery, cemetery and township. Duane’s teasing, laughter and sense of humor will be missed by many.

The funeral service for Duane will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Alliance Church of the Valley in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. and again at the church one hour prior to the service.

Please join the family for lunch and fellowship following the service at the church.

Casket bearers will be Jon Doolittle, Lyle Doolittle, David Doolittle, Ryan Christensen, Darren Christensen, Keaton Doolittle and Corey Henrich.

Duane will be laid to rest at the Wolf Creek Cemetery.
