Wanda was born on September 17, 1932 in Kemp, Texas to parents B.A. and Virginia (Shaw) Wilson and entered into eternal rest on May 17, 2019 at the age of 86.

Wanda graduated from Kemp High School. She married Bob Valentine on June 25, 1949 in Rockwall, Texas. And together they started their life and raised three boys. Bob passed in 1996, leaving Wanda to focus on her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her life.
On September 17, 1999, Wanda married Bob Patterson, until his passing. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Kemp, Texas. She was an amazing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Wanda will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved her.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Bob Valentine, son Alan Valentine, husband Bob Patterson and brother-in-law Bill Wright.

She is survived by her son Ron Valentine and wife Pam of Lakewood, CO, son Bob Valentine of Terrell, daughter-in-law Vicki Valentine, daughter-in-law Katherine Valentine of Savasota, FL, granddaughters; Brandi Myszkowski and husband Brian of Port St. Lucy, FL, Jenny Valentine and Shawn Piers of Falls Church, VA, Megan Valentine and Kirby Byrd of Washington, DC, Molly Kitson and husband Derick of Savasota, FL, Anna “Boo” Valentine of Fairfield, CT, Amanda Valentine of Corsicana, Alex Valentine and Jason Wright of Mabank and Alaina Valentine and Jared Lane of Ft. Worth, grandson Travis Valentine and wife Merritt of Gulf Shores, AL, great-grandchildren; Tatum Valentine, Holden Valentine, Marley Hanna, Adeline Kitson, Everett Kitson, Jordan Valentine and Isabella Gardner, step-mother Christine Wilson, sisters; Monda Wright of Kemp, Christy, Nita (Wilson) Collier and husband Ray, Debra Mashburn and husband James of Mabank and brother Johnny Carter of Kemp, brother-in-law Jimmy Valentine and wife Carolyn of Kemp, numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
