Isabelle V. Burkett, 85, of Wadsworth, died Friday, December 2, 2005 at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital. Services will be Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Stanley Ward officiating at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, 9560 Acme Rd., Wadsworth. Friends may call Monday, December 5, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Akron Childrens Hospital, Visiting Nurses of Copley, or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
She was born August 31, 1920, in Sharon Center to Lee and Effie (Houck) Guldeman. She had been an employee of the Ohio Match Company, a member of the South West Sharon Ladies Aide Society, and attended First Church of the Nazarene of Wadsworth. She enjoyed bowling and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her passion.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Roland "Buck" Burkett
