In 1972, proud father, Kenneth and doting mother, Cecelia along with gleeful older sister, Kimberly, celebrated the birth of Tiffany Davis in Northern California. Appropriately, she was nicknamed "Sunshine" in her youth. It would be easy to attribute this to her California birthplace or blonde beauty; it was actually due to her warm disposition and light-filled smile.
Tiffany's family soon returned to the Dallas Texas area, where she explored her youth in pigtails as a normal kid at dance recitals, track meets, and as a high school cheerleader. She then attended the University of Texas, graduating with a degree in finance. After college, she went into software sales, which eventually took her back to the west coast and an unanticipated joining that only God could have delivered.
Though she had met her adoring future husband twice prior, they did not truly connect until ten years after the first encounter, and the two were never apart from that time forward. Many magical adventures abounded, including a return to Texas in 2001 to start a commercial real estate business and family with her husband. While the relocation back to Texas was a significant part of her life, it was the raising of their two children, Kaden, and Everly that were the embodiment of her joy every second of every day. Tiffany was the definition of motherhood, and in her heart and actions it was crystal clear that was her most rewarding time in life.
Tiffany embodied grace, dignity, and a ferocious longing for life. She did not wear her pain on her sleeve yet, she loved deeply and was loved much more than she likely knew. And when she was funny, which was often, she was very funny. It is certain that her heartfelt laughter will echo through the chambers of her new home as it did her home here.
As utterly shattered as we are to lose her daily presence, we know arms are open wide from both her grandmothers, her paternal grandfather, her aunt, and especially her Heavenly Father. He has big, big plans for her.
Surviving her are those above, as well as her grandfather, her stepfather, several aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, and countless friends.
Her memorial celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Life Austin.
Instead of flowers or food, the family has requested donations be made to Wonders and Worries, www.wondersandworries.org/donate/, in Memory of Tiffany Davis.
