Curtis Rudolph Culpepper, 77, of Moultrie, died Monday, April 15, 2019 at his home.

Graveside rites, with full military honors, will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Robert McCoy officiating.

Born November 2, 1941 in Hahira, he was the son of the late Curtis Seborn Culpepper and Katie Loudell Griffis Culpepper.

Mr. Culpepper served in the U.S. Army for twenty-one years, retiring as Sergeant First Class. Following his Army career, he served as a purchasing agent for Colquitt County. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Pearl Cooper Culpepper and one brother, Lamar Culpepper.

Survivors include two sons, Steven Glen Culpepper and wife Melanie of Moultrie and Curtis Young and wife Tracy of Gainesville, Fl.; one daughter, Lejeune Allen and husband Mike of Chattahoochee, Fl.; two grandchildren, Megan Mechele Culpepper and Joshua Steven Culpepper; three step-great-grandchildren, Rylee Gaddy, Jayce Gaddy and Dawson Gaddy; six sisters, Paula Wilson, Carolyn Kilgore, Martha Gray, Sue Jacobs and husband David, Katie Samples and husband Curtis, all of Moultrie and Annette Gentry and husband Ralph of Perry; one brother, Daryl Culpepper of Perry.
