In June 1946, Jean Lagro and Floyd Martin were united in marriage.
For over 75 years, Floyd worked as a bricklayer. For many years, he was employed by Lakehead Constructors, Superior, and retired as a self-employed bricklayer. He earned his 50-year gold card from the local bricklayers' union.
Floyd was a lifelong member of Ogden Avenue Baptist Church and Bayside Baptist Church. For numerous years, Floyd was also a member of Gideons International.
Floyd enjoyed helping Jean with church banquets and her floral arrangements. They also loved spending time in Hawaii.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Jean on February 4, 2018, daughter, Diane Larson; and siblings.
Floyd is survived by his son, David (Donna) Martin; son-in-law, Robert Larson; grandchildren: Chad (Andrea) Martin, Jennifer (Lalo) Flores, Steffany (Kyle) Bacho, Christy (Mark) Moline, Tonya (Nick) Mancuso, Brandi (Alex) Gonzales, and Tammi (Pete) Irwin; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
