He was born about 1839 in Williamson County, Tennessee and

I don't find him as a Housden or a Houston in the 1860 census.

He and a brother, Andrew J Housden served in the same unit
during the Civil War. Andrew's family migrated to Denton County, Texas
in the early 1890's

Cunningham and Armitta O'Brian. Amanda and William are in
Sherrill Township in the 1900 census, she is in Kansas City in the

John William Housden II married Naomi Florence Jones daughter of
Jacob Stephen Jones and Nancy Emeline Reid. They are in
Neosho after 1910
Andrew Mathew Housden married Louella Harris who was from
Licking but I don't have parents names for her. Apparently the
went to someplace in Texas by 1907 and to Oklahoma by
1908
Ara/ Armitta stayed in Licking County and married (1) John Washington
Ware, (2) Samuel Robert West and (3) William Arthur Ogden. She is
