Mr. Blankenship passed away on Sunday May 19, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 14, 1933 in Limestone County, AL; to William Thomas and Mattie Miller Blankenship. Mr. Blankenship was a member and deacon of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
He was survived by his wife Christine Parker Blankenship, two daughters Deborah Blackwell and husband Keith; Jan Anyan and husband Larry, one sister Sarah Miller, three grandchildren Aaron Blackwell and wife Haley, Ryan Blackwell, Christy Gaines and husband Craig, four great grandchildren Blair Blackwell, Mark Blackwell, Sean Dalton, and Ryne Dalton.
Pallbearers will be Keith Blackwell, Ryan Blackwell, Aaron Blackwell, Andy Davis, Ed Riley, and Brennan Shores.
