Paul Fox, longtime Richardson resident passed away May 11, 2019 in McKinney, Texas. He was born August 11, 1922 in Springfield, MO.
He attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas where he was the starting second basemen for the 1940 Texas high school state champs. He graduated from SMU in 1943 where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and from Oklahoma City Law School in 1951.
After his marriage to the love of his life Fern Brewer in 1943, Paul joined the United States Marine Corp where he served with distinction participating in the battle of Iwo Jima and securing the Japanese mainland after the war.
Paul was blessed with a long life enjoying many hobbies which included riding his Harley all over the United States and Europe with many friends, flying planes as well as gliders and meticulously putting together scale models of all kinds. He also coached Little League baseball in Richardson for a number of years.
Preceded in death by his wife, Fern Fox and his oldest daughter, Shay Fox. Survived by his daughter, Gail Teel; grand children and great grand children.
