Dee Williams, age 86, of Jones, OK, passed away May 15, 2019, with friends and family by his side. Dee was born Jan. 5, 1933, in Jones, OK to Lewis and Orah Williams. He attended Jones schools and was active in sports and FFA until graduating in 1953. Dee served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955 with the Sixth Armored Division. He married the love of his life, Oweta Masoner on Oct. 15, 1954. Dee continued serving his community by being a volunteer firefighter with the Jones Fire Department. He retired from Macklanburg-Duncan after 44 years. Dee was an avid outdoorsman, beekeeper, and gardener. Dee is survived by his wife, Oweta Williams; daughter, Linda Williams; his "little buddy" grandson, Douglas Kilmer; and sister, Norma Jean (Williams) Krahl and husband James. He loved his nieces, nephews and friends very much and had special memories of each one, as he enjoyed telling stories on each one of them. The Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Hibbs Funeral Home, 2190 North Harper, Choctaw, OK.
