Carolyn Fiedorowicz, age 83, of Marinette, Wisconsin, died May 13, 2019 in Marinette. She was born in Mapleton, Utah, the second oldest daughter of Jesse and Vivian Everett.

Carolyn was raised on the Everett farm in Mapleton with her sister and brothers and attended the Mapleton and Springville Schools. She played violin and sang in chorus and graduated in 1954 from Springville High School in Springville, Utah. Carolyn attended college in Utah at Utah State in Logan, Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, and the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. While attending college, she worked several jobs as a secretary, stenographer, and clerk. Carolyn attained a Bachelor of Arts degree and High School Teacher’s Certificate from the University of Utah in 1961.

After college, Carolyn taught in West Jordan, Utah, and in Del Paso Heights (Sacramento), California, where she met George Fiedorowicz. She and George taught for one year in Sacramento and then headed east to Cherry Hill, New Jersey and taught one year there.
Carolyn and George were married in Virginia on November 23, 1962, and at the end of the school year, moved to Wisconsin.

Carolyn taught at Coleman, Crivitz, Marinette, and Wausaukee High Schools. Carolyn and George eventually settled on part of the Fiedorowicz homestead in Beaver, Wisconsin in 1965 where they built a home and raised four children. Carolyn and George divorced in 1995.

After the children were older, Carolyn returned to the workforce and worked as a student aide at Coleman High School, a vocational counselor at Goodwill Industries in Marinette, and finally as a librarian at the University of Wisconsin - Marinette. Carolyn retired in 2004. Carolyn was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and coped with lessening mobility throughout her later years with the assistance of various facilities in the Marinette area.
Carolyn was a voracious reader. She enjoyed golfing, travelling, playing cards with the Ladies Card Club, participating in church activities, reading scriptures, and watching movies, Jeopardy, and the news.

Carolyn is survived by her children: Lee (Christine) Fiedorowicz, Ryan Fiedorowicz, Kyle (Sara) Fiedorowicz; and Brooke (David) Running.
three grandsons and one granddaughter;
her two brothers: Wynn and JD,
and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Lela Kaye Roberts, and her former husband George.
