She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Aux. No. 3177 of Brewer. Kathleen is survived by five children, Brenda Locke, Roberta Harriman, both of Bucksport, Gayle Hamm and husband, Leroy, of Winterport, Lynn Meierdirk, Barry Harriman and wife, Alicia, all of Orrington; three stepdaughters, Nancy Grant and husband, Fred, of Stockton Springs, Betty York and husband, Jim, Brenda Edmonds and husband, Edward, all of Belfast; special granddaughter, Kristi Harriman; special great-grandson, Corey Grant; two brothers-in-law, Linwood Harriman of Orrington, Stora Harriman and wife, Lucille, of Sandy Point; sister-in-law, Verna Sweet of Searsport; grandchildren, Kevin, Laurie, Patti, Billie, Bonnie, Ronnie, Mark, David, Brandi, Kyle; stepgrandchildren, Stacey, Perry, Fred, Wade, Trisha, Lisa, Jamie, Nadine, Eddie, Scott; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Shawn, Flubba-Bubba, Kayla, Tara, Michael, Meagan, Kaylee, Tony, Greg, Taylor, Aaron, Bella, Elizabeth, Leea, Shane, Zander, and several other great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by very special friend, Dale Phillips, her caregiver, Linda Lancaster; and her lifelong friend, Connie Ayer.
Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Ernest F. Harriman; her parents, Arlene and Frank Ames; an infant son, two grandsons and one great-grandson. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Biswas and the staff of Bucksport Regional Health Center, and the staff at E.M.M.C. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 10, with a F.O.E. memorial service 7:30 p.m. at the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. A gathering for family and friends will follow at the home of Kevin Ames, Facteau Drive, Orland.
