Tommy William Aaron, 83 passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday, June 14, 2019 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas with Jeremy Curry, Compassion Church, officiating. Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the funeral home. Tommy was born September 26, 1935 in Wichita Falls to Thomas and Olive (Fowler) Aaron. He married Donna Park on March 21, 1959 in Wichita Falls. Tommy's passion was working. He worked in road construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator most of his life. He loved fishing, cooking out at get-togethers, and was known to watch the Dallas Cowboys anytime they were playing. However, his greatest joy was spending time with grandkids. Tommy will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. Tommy is preceded in death by his wife; parents; one son, Mike Aaron; and two grandsons, David Chizmadia and Marcus Aaron. Surviving relatives include his children, Glen Aaron and his wife, Leslie of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma; Sherri Ingram and her husband, J.R. of Apache, Oklahoma; Elizabeth Glasgow and her husband, Michael of Henrietta, Texas; Millie Sosebee and husband, Allen of Wichita Falls; Ricky Aaron and wife, Becca of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma; and Sharron Smith of Tyler, Texas; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; his dog, Bear-Bear and cat, Tom Cat. Pallbearers will be David Britt, Bobby Andrews, Randy Wilkerson, Tyler Aaron, Chase Moore, and Chase Brom. Phillip Britt, a lifetime best friend, will be an Honorary Pallbearer. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
