Patsy Darlene Doyle, lifetime resident of Warsaw, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the age of 99.

Known to everyone as "Pat", she was born on July 24, 1923, she was the daughter of Alvan "Van" and Hazel Albertson. She graduated from Warsaw High School and went on to work at Dalton Foundry for a few years. After the foundry, Pat worked in Warsaw Community Schools and was the head cook at Lincoln Elementary School for 17 years. On November 21, 1943, she was united in marriage to her true love, John G. Doyle Sr. Together, they raised their five children and shared 66 years of memories before his passing in November of 2009.

Pat was very proud of being a team member on the Women's softball travelling team during World War II. She also was an avid bowler, being a part of several leagues including the Tuesday Night Late Ladies League, Wednesday Coffee Klatch, and Thursday Women's Early League. She also enjoyed playing Euchre, crossword puzzles, and cooking. Pat was a devoted Christian, being a longtime member of Dutchtown Brethren Church in Warsaw. Most of all, Pat loved her family and would do anything for them. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her best.

Those who survive with broken hearts include her children, Janet (Wayne) Ginter, Nancy (George) Barkman, Terry (Dennis) Miller, John G. Doyle Jr., and Tom (Kim) Doyle; grandchildren, Carol Sloan, Patty Shill, Tammy Sands, Vickie Salimi, Angie McLean, Sheri Stott, John W. Doyle, Jamie Doyle, Jeremy Doyle, Krista Carroll, Tera Hunt, and Mike Julian; great grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Kaylee, Brandon, Claire, Meredith, Katelyn, Lauren, Abbey, Adriana, Kacin, Garrett, Addison, Max, Eli, Ryder, Brittany, Aaron, and Jeremy; 8 great great grandchildren; and sister in law, Evelyn Albertson.
