Neal Eldrige Moore, age 66, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007 in a local hospital. Born April 3, 1941 in Batesville, he was the son of Hiram Eldrige Moore and Mabel Neely Moore.

He was a veteran of the US Army where he achieved the rank of Sergeant during the Vietnam Era, he was a retired truck driver, a carpenter and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Shirley Ann Moore of Batesville; three sons, Royce Neal Moore and his wife, Heather, Rodney Moore and his wife Becky and Ryan Moore and his wife, Tabitha Moore all of Batesville; one brother, Jack Moore of Fayetteville GA; three sisters, Louise Walker of Batesville, Allene Henley of Charlotte and Linda Strode of McAllister, OK; three grandchildren, Shay Moore, Katelyn Moore and Cody Moore all of Batesville; three aunts, Edith Millspaugh, Lucille Brown and Irene Gipson all of Batesville and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services are Monday, April 30, 2:00 p.m., at the Willis-Hays Chapel in Batesville with Rev. Stefan Eubanks officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Cushman under the direction of Willis-Hays Funeral Service of Batesville.

Pallbearers are Danny Mitchell, Raymon Hedges, Von Perkey, Jessie Allen, Mitchell Barnes and Ken Ray.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Greg Neaville, Debra Vaulner and all the nurses on the 3rd floor/PCU of the White River Medical Center.

Visitation is Sunday evening from 5-8 p.m.
