Patricia A. (Fantegrossi) Welch a lifelong Needham resident died on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 67 years old. Born in Needham, the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Arra) Fantegrossi, she was a graduate of Needham High School Class of 1957 and Pierce Secretarial School in Boston. Mrs. Welch was a former employee of Calvert's. She was an in home daycare provider for many years and drove a school bus for special needs children. A former Girl Scout Leader and volunteer at St. Joseph School, Mrs. Welch most recently was a volunteer at the Voting Polls for Precincts A and B. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and loved to travel. The loving wife for 47 years of Thomas A. Welch II, she was the dear mother of Michele Kremer and her husband Tom of Dublin, CA, Marlene Pasciuto and her husband Anthony of N. Attleboro, Andrea Pascarelli and her husband Michael of Canton, Sean Welch of Needham and Yvonne Hawley and her husband Chris of Northbridge. Sister of Peter Fantegrossi of Boca Raton, FL and Casilda Murphy of Dedham and devoted grandmother of 10 grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Monday June 18 at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Sunday from 4-8 PM. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Patricia's name may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute 44 Binney St. Boston MA 02115 or Partner's Hospice, 281 Winter St, Suite 200, Waltham MA 02451.
