He was born on February 11, 1919 in Gorman, Texas. Mr. Barron was a member of the Church of Christ in Loraine. He was a Staff Sergeant in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Barron is survived by his son, Wayne Barron and wife, Donna of Big Spring; step-sons, Lanny Hall and wife, Lynda of Maryneal and Kim Hall and wife, Kathy of Snyder; brother, James Barron and wife, Carolyn of Abilene; sisters-in-law, June Barron of Loraine and Evelyn Stanley of Sweetwater; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2007 at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2007 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Loraine Cemetery with Dr. Joe Marshall and Kerry Cain officiating.
