November 11, 1952 - May 17, 2019

Debbie Ramsey left this life Friday May 17, 2019 at Sacred Heart Hospital, under the care of Covenant Hospice, after a 6 1/2 year battle with Multiple Myeloma. She was surrounded by her loving family and passed peacefully at the hand of his Heavenly Father. Debbie was born November 11, 1952 to Red and June White in Brewton, AL. She was preceded in death by her father, Red White and brother, Ricky White. She is survived by her husband, John Ramsey; daughter Melanie (Holly) Pilcher; son, John (Holly) Ramsey; daughter, Melissa (Jacob) Plack; son Preston (Brittany) Ramsey; daughter Angela (Joey) Wright; Grandchildren: Janah (Josh) Merlin, Logan Brown, Trae Ramsey, Shelby Plack, Jules Ramsey, Layla Wright, Molly Plack, Colemen Wright: Great Granddaughter: Isla Merlin; Mother, Syble White; sisters, Sandy (Patrick) Fennimore, Sheila (Ricky) White, brothers, Randy (Cheryl) White, Ronnie White and Jamie (Camilla) White; and many close nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who were also family. Debbie graduated from Crestview High School in 1970. She started her career right out of High School at Okaloosa Title. She enjoyed volunteering as a Cheerleading Coach, as well as a youth leader at church. Debbie and Melanie moved to Pensacola in 1992 where Debbie began her 25+ year career with Southern Wine and Spirits. Upon moving to Pensacola Debbie met the love of her life, John Ramsey, on a blind date. Debbie and John just celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on January 27th 2019. Throughout their loving marriage Debbie and John traveled and attended numerous sporting events. Debbie was an avid reader and had many hobbies including ceramics, crochet, playing cards, anything FSU, football or baseball and spoiling her Grandchildren and Great Granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm until the funeral service begins at 2:00pm, on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32504. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers you may donate to; UAMS Myeloma Center 4018 W. Capitol Ave., Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Yazan Alsayed, of Sacred Heart Medical Oncology, for his unprecedented compassion and care throughout Debbie’s treatment.
