Ms. Erica Davis, 43, of Waterbury, formerly of Danbury passed away, unexpectedly, Thursday April 25, 2019.
Ms. Davis was born on April 21, 1976, in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter to Walter and Lula (Davis) Hunter of Brooklyn, NY.
"Munchie Poo" as she was so affectionately called, attended Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn, NY where she graduated in June 1995. She went on to LIU College and completed courses for teaching, in 1997.

Erica received her CNA license in 1998 and began working at Woodhull Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital, both in New York. In 2002, she moved to Danbury, CT and started working at Pope John Paul II Care and Rehabilitation center and Maplewood Assisted Living Facility. A few years later, Erica worked at other nursing homes in Waterbury, where she resided until her passing.

"Munchie Poo" loved cooking, dancing, helping others. She enjoyed being around her children, whom she loved with all of her heart and was a phenomenal mother to her three children who were her life line and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Erica was a special person to all of us that knew and loved her. Her quiet demeanor, in spite of what she was feeling on the inside, she would always have a smile on her face. "Munchie Poo" was a kind and generous person with a smile that alone would change the atmosphere of any room. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory, three beautiful children; Aveiana Davis, Anaieva Davis and Anion Davis all of Waterbury, siblings; Yolanda Hutchinson of Brooklyn, NY and Delano McClain, three nieces including special niece, Shekale Hutchinson of Brooklyn, NY, nephew, Davion Hutchinson of NY, several uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of dear friends.
