Funeral of Mr. Zyglewicz
The funeral of John Zyglewicz(Zegal) was held yesterday at 8:30 a.m. from the residence, 1811 Wiswall Ave., Watervliet, and at 9 a.m. from our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, that city, where a Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated by Rev. Boleslaw W. Walroba. Rev. Bronislaus J. Mendel was deacon and Rev. John Testa , O.F.M., was subdeacon. Organist was Leo Symansky who sang the responses to the Mass. Bearers were Stanley, Edward and William Kruszewski and John Graulty. Interment was in the Immaculate Conception Monastery with Father Walroba officiating. Wednesday night Father Walroba visited the home and recited the Rosary. Sisters of the Resurrection also visited the home and recited prayers. Other organizations which visited the home were: The Palaski Club, the Sons of Poland, The American Locomotive Co., Watervliet Police Department, the Cluett, Peabody & Co., Inc., laundry, the Watervliet Fire Department, Tobin Packing Co., the Meat Packers Association, the Fireman and Boilermen Association, and Watervliet employes.
