Glen was born to Effie Pearl Clements & Erastus H. Clark. His family lived in Dempsy, ID. until his parents divorced in 1903. His mother then moved with him & his brother, Raymond, to Salem, ID. In 1905, Effie married Frank Gardner & the family moved to Rigby, ID. Glen had 3 stepsisters, a stepbrother, 3 half brothers & 5 half sisters. Glen was baptized into the LDS church in 1907, & was ordained a deacon 1909. He attended school in Rigby. In 1910 the family moved to LaBelle, just outside Rigby. Shortly after the move, Glen moved in with his grandparents, Royal & Lucy Clements. He enjoyed singing & playing the harmonica & said to be a very good dancer. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing & horses. On July 9, 1919 at the age of 22, Glen married Elizabeth Rosalind Saxton. They have 4 children: Golda, Glenda, Lola, Rex. In 1926 Glen & Elizabeth bought a small home in Sugar City, ID. They resided there until the Teton Dam broke & destroyed their home. During his time in Sugar City he had several occupations. These included working for the Rick's Sheep C., carpentering for the railroad, the Fish & Game & the E.C.A. He laso worked construction on the Palisades Dam. Glen retired at the age of 59 due to health problems. He and his wife, Elizabeth worked 3 summers up at the Warm River Lodge. After the Teton Dam flood they moved to Parker, ID., where they lived in a trailer behind their daughter lola's home. They remained there until Elizabeths death in 1979. After that, Glen spent a year at his daughter Golda's in Cokeville, WY. He then was moved to the Good Samaritan Nursing home in Idaho Falls, ID. until his death on Dec. 3, 1983. He was buried on Dec. 8, 1983 in the Sugar City Cemetery next to his wife Elizabeth.
