J.D. Early age 93 of Homewood passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 16, 2019.
He was the son of Wesley Andrew Early (1880 - 1959) and Minnie Estelle Brown Early (1909-1999).
He was an Army veteran serving in World War II and Korea.
J. D. was preceded in death by his daughter, Greta Skelton; his siblings: Ruth, Alfred, James, J.C., Lonnie B., Bessie Lee and Ollie Mae.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Roisale S. Early; sons: David Early, Richard Early (Sheryl) and Rodney Early; grandchildren: Ashley, David, Jr., Keith, Kevin, Anna and John David; great grandchildren: River, Lidia, Zander and Collin; sister, Margie Haygood; brothers: Wesley Early, Loyd Early and Jimmy Early.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
