Marie N. Andrews 1919-2016 Marie "Mimi" N. Andrews of Auburn was born to the late John and Vera Ogletree Norsworthy in Brewton, AL, on October 29, 1919. She passed away peacefully at her home on December 12, 2016. She was 97 years old. Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to all. She was an active member of Auburn First Baptist Church and especially loved her Vota Vita and Fishers Sunday School Classes. Marie was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 63 years, Ralph E. Andrews and her sisters Doris Gleaton, Kathleen Barnes, Nell Norsworthy, and Barbara Morris. Marie is survived by her children: Ralph Andrews (Charlsa) of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Jan Dailey (Malcolm) of Auburn, Alabama; grandchildren Scott Andrews of Beavercreek, Ohio, Lee Andrews (Lindsey) of Powell, Ohio, Justin Dailey (Stephanie) of Austin, Texas, Erin Cureton (Will) of Knoxville, Tennessee; great grandchildren Corinne Andrews, Ava Andrews, and Austin Andrews. Family will receive friends Friday, December 16, 2016, in the sanctuary at Auburn First Baptist Church from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow at Auburn First Baptist at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Tripp Martin and Dale Peterson officiating. A private burial will be held at a later time. The family sincerely appreciates the wonderful expressions of love from her friends and Pastor Tripp Martin, as well as the special care Marie received from Southern Home Health, Compassus, The EAMC Cancer Center, her home caregivers, and Dr. John Abrams and Dr. Chris Martin and their staffs.
