Norene Meyer, 80, of Boulder City, Nev., and a former Amarillo resident, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in SchoolerGordon Funeral Directors, Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 Bell St., with the Rev. Bruce Das officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.

Mrs. Meyer was born in Hall County and moved to Amarillo in 1943. She was self-employed as a hairdresser and was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.

She married Clifton Meyer in 1943 at Poth. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Bernice Meyer, in 1944.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Janice Posey of Amarillo; a brother, Charles Robertson of Memphis; four sisters, Doris Harrington of Orange, Calif., Billie Foote of Plainview; Bonnie Fager of Boulder City and Frankie Robertson of Amarillo; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family will be at 6200 Hanson Road.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. today, from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until noon Friday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
