She was born June 13, 1972 in Chilton, to James and the late Phyllis (Birkholtz) Geiser. Shelly graduated from Chilton High School with the Class of 1990. She then continued on to LTC where she graduated with a degree in Nursing. Shelly enjoyed working at her nursing positions throughout the area; most recently, at Century Ridge in Chilton. She enjoyed the many girls night out gatherings with good friends, the many scrapbooking activities she so looked forward to over the years and most recently took up Diamond Art, always with her daytime companion Lucy watching next to her side. You could always find Shelly’s wheelchair on the sidelines of the boys sporting events, or their school concerts.
Shelly is survived by the love of her life, Dale Schreiber, Kiel; their sons: Jacob, Caleb, and Ethan; her father: Jim Geiser, Chilton; her brother: Jason (Angela) Geiser, Brillion; and their children: Jamie, Kendra, Rachel, Neleah, Zach, and Mackenzie; her mother-in-law: Ethel Schreiber; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Debra (Dave) Ehlenbeck, Frederick (Tia) Schreiber, and Allen (Patty) Schreiber. She is further survived by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many special friends that remained close over the years.
She is preceded in death by her mom, Phyllis; her sister, Amy Geiser; her father-in-law, Frederick Schreiber Sr. and her grandparents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church (413 Fremont St., Kiel) Fr. Carl Diederichs officiating with Joe Zenk, Parish Director assisting. will follow at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue Tuesday at the Funeral Home from 9:00 am until 10:00 am when Private Prayers will be held prior to processing to Church.
A memorial fund will be established in Shelly’s name.
