Ray Collins, age 72 of Carthage, Missouri formerly of Webb City, Missouri passed away Sunday May 12, 2019 following a short illness.

He was born July 11, 1946 in West Plains, Missouri to Lawrence and Helen (Dollins) Collins.

Ray served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the AF & AM # 335 Joplin, Missouri and was a 32nd degree Mason. He was employed in the Public Works Department for the City of Webb City, Missouri. He enjoyed doing woodworking and working outside.

He married Bonnie Ogle on December 22, 1984 and she survives. He is also survived by three daughters, Tammy Clifford and husband Dennis, Webb City, Missouri, Carey Tignor, Kansas City, Missouri, Crystal Smith and husband David, Anchorage, Alaska; one brother Delbert “Perk” Collins, Webb City, Missouri and seven grandchildren.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.

A visitation will be held 5:00 -7:00 pm on Wednesday May 15, 2019 at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home.
