GREENSBORO - Mr. Joel Henry Hall , 81, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday August 4, 2011 at Morningview Manor in Greensboro.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Sedgefield Baptist Church with Rev. Deryl Holliday officiating the service. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
Mr. Hall was a member of Sedgefield Baptist Church where he served as a former deacon. He retired form Odell Hardware Company as a salesman, and became employed with Terry Labonte Chevrolet as a driver. He was a Greensboro High School graduate, and a Korean War veteran while serving his country honorably in the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Ralph and D.C. Hall , Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Jean Hall ; daughter Pam Earles and husband David; son Danny Hall and wife April all of Greensboro; sister Christine Foy of Greensboro. Also surviving are his grandchildren, the pride and joy of his life, Riley and McKenna Hall .
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
