She is survived by her eight children; Patricia R. (Donald) Boyne, William H. (Sandra), Robert L. (Karen), Mary C. Stets, Darlene M. (Wayne) Weidner, Ronald E. (Kathy), Delmar D. (Cindy), and Luann E. Russell. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dale R. Kling, sisters; Janet L. Weidner and Faye I. Karper.
Geraldine graduated from Carlisle High School in 1942. She enjoyed attending high school class reunions, playing bingo with friends and antiquing. One of her favorite pass times was watching baseball, especially the Phillies and Nationals. She also loved supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren in sports and other school activities. She loved all holidays and special occasions with her large family.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Chaplain Alan Lane officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the funeral home and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service.
