Elaine Catherine Alander, 95, passed away Wednesday May 15, 2019 at Golden Oaks Assisted Living in Hermantown, MN. he was born to Andrew and Christine Anderson Oct. 11, 1923.
She was a lifelong resident of Rice Lake, MN. She married Voitto “Bernie” Alander on Dec. 7, 1946.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sons Charles, Dale and James, sister Lois Jakubek and brothers Lloyd and Herbert Anderson.
She is survived by sons: Steven John (Patti) and Jerrold (Maggie); eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; sisters: Betty (Vi) Olson and Jean Tracy: sister-in-law Miriam Alander and many nieces and nephews.
