Ruby was born Tuesday November 5, 1935 in Pike County a daughter of the late James and Bertha (Goff) Bevins.
Ruby was a Nurse Aide until retirement.
Other than her parents Ruby was preceded in death by eight bothers James Bevins Jr., Ray Bevins, Bruce Layne, Ireland Layne, Farrest Bevins, Forest Bevins, Elmer Bevins, and Lat Bevins, ; six sisters Irene Sebree, Goldie Kuhn, Erma Williamson, Mitral Stratton, Mamie Blackburn, and Imal Bevins; and one granddaughter Chassity Morley.
Ruby is survived by her husband John B Scott; one son Eddie D. Scott of Pikeville, KY/ Dandridge, TN; one daughter Madonna L. Morley and her husband Michael of Pikeville, KY; one grand Daughter Tonya Hamilton and her husband Scott; and two great grandchildren Bryce McCoy and Hannah Hamilton.
Serving as Active Pallbearers for Ruby will be Roger Bevins, Danny Bevins, Mike Morley, Bryce McCoy Jonathon Bevins, Scott Hamilton, Eddie Scott, and Keith Bevins.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Randall “Coon” Bevins, Clay Bevins, and Larry Williamson.
Ruby leaves behind a host of family, friends, and loving caregivers to mourn her passing.
