Maxine was Born in Lindale, Georgia where she attended Pepperell High,worked at Kennesaw State College and moved to Alabama in 1986 .
Maxine was preceded in death by her mother & father C.W. & Bessie Nickles Sr, one brother C.W. Nickles Jr, and one sister Peggy Greene . She is survived by one sister Mary Treglawn of Lindale , Georgia.
Maxine was the loving mother of 5 children. Kay( Bobby) Adams, David ( Paige) Toole, Dana ( Lesa) Price, Alan Price and Misty ( Chris ) Bryan. She was a proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Granny max will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving mother, Grandmother and friend ,who loved her sweet Tea, tending to her roses, Feeding Hummingbirds and listening to her gospel music. Granny Max's greatest love was spending time with her children and many grand children
