"Brenda J. Powell, 62, of Conneaut, passed away Monday morning, March 4, 2019, at UHHS Geauga Hospital. She was born November 30, 1956, in Conneaut, and was the daughter of Lester and Shirley (Slocum) Anderson.
Brenda received her degree in accounting and worked at First Merit Bank. She was a member of New Leaf United Methodist Church, and while her kids were young, She helped with their youth groups. She enjoyed having picnics, boating, scrapbooking, ceramics, canning, and being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Lester "Butch" Anderson, Jr.; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St, Conneaut, with Pastor Jan Walsh of New Leaf United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in East Conneaut Cemetery.
