Jennifer Crystal Patterson of Wapato, Washington, went to be with our lord on May 4th, 2019.

She was the daughter of Josefina Patterson and Julian Patterson. Jennifer was raised and lived in Wapato most of her life. She became very attached to her grandma and grandpa at a very young age and stayed with them often. As a young child she enjoyed playing with all her cousins and grandma’s house was the place to be.

Growing up Jennifer always had a special place in her heart for animals. She had gerbils, cats, a dog, two hedge hogs, a snake, a lizard, and fish in a bowl that she complimented with miniature crabs. If it didn’t have a home and she could catch it, she brought it home and took care of it. She often told her mom she would love to do that kind of work when she grew up.

As she got older she ventured into the world of technology. She and her friends enjoyed making home videos and taking lots of pictures. She had many friends - she was always happy. She joked around all the time and she always had a smile.

Jennifer is survived by her three children, Julianne Patterson Fiander, Kiersten Patterson and Jeremy Patterson all of Wapato; her mother Josefina Patterson, her older sister Adrienne Patterson and her younger brother Raymond Patterson. Jennifer has numerous uncles, aunts and cousins throughout the valley that love her and will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father Julian Patterson, her grandparents Juanita and Francisco Perez, grandparents Raymond and Josephine Patterson, uncle Ray Patterson and her aunts Laura Harmon and Denna Gonzalez.

A memorial service will be held at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Wapato at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 16th, 2019 with the inurnment of the cremains to follow immediately at the Reservation Park.
