MARION--Mrs. Maggie Lambert, 68, 2002 W. 10th St., died at a nursing home here Monday afternoon after an extended illness. A native of Jay County, she had lived in Marion since 1945.
Mrs. Lambert was a member of First Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star here.
Mrs. Lambert is survived by a son, John D. Lambert, Fort Myers, Fla.; four brothers, Chester Carder, Richmond, Dale Carder, Eaton, Delver Carder, Indianapolis, and John P. Carder, Marion; a sister, Mrs. Clarence L. Tharp, Eaton, and a grandchild.
Services will be at Needham and Son Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Thursday. Rev. G. Lavon Fisher will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Redkey. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Eastern Star services will be at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
