Ann Marie Stevens, formerly Beck, age 82 of Monroeville, died Thursday, May 2, 2019 in Elmer Hospital.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late David V. & Elsie Marie (nee Pedicord) Harvey. Ann was a 1953 graduate of Woodstown High School, and she was a college graduate of the Philadelphia College of the Bible. She had been the bookkeeper and co-driver for Stevens Trucking Company, which she helped to operate along with her husband. Known as the “Honeymooners”, they drove together for many years for the Mayflower moving company. Their first delivery was to their honeymoon destination, Lake Tahoe. Ann also was known for Himalayan cat breeding. She loved to gather her nieces and nephews for trips to the shore.

Ann is survived by her husband of 42 years, David Carl Stevens, Sr.; her daughter, Victoria Betzer; her son, Maxwell Beck; her daughter, Stephanie Peterson; her stepdaughter, Dawn Bill; her grandchildren, Christina, Jennifer, Benjamin, Nick, Alyssa, Jesse, Steven, Tiffany, Christopher, Michael, William, Jared, Virginia, and Carl; her step-grandchildren, Johnathan, Esther, Elizabeth, Jacob, and Joseph; her great-grandchildren, Hannah, Connor, and William III; her step-great-grandchildren, Aria, Emilee, and Lucas; and her siblings, Ralph Harvey, Helen Adams, David Harvey, John Harvey, Daniel Harvey, Bob Harvey, Marjorie Tomlinson, Timothy Harvey, Grace Lewis, and Esther Pannell.

In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her stepson, David C. Stevens, Jr.; her stepdaughter, Dana Kathleen, Joyner Williams; and her sister, Mary Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 8th in the H.T. Layton Funeral Home, 102 S. Main St., Woodstown, where friends are invited to visit from 9 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow the service in Salem Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are by the H.T. Layton Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Woodstown.
