Lorna Sue Baker, 69 of Browning Fork, WV departed this life to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV.

Born July 3, 1949 at Welch, WV She was the daughter of Elma Hatfield Brown and the late Chester Brown Sr.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother: Rex Brown; and nephew: Jeremy Brown.

Sue was a loving daughter, mother, granddaughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of the First Missionary Southern Baptist Church of Justice. She enjoyed going to the lake and most importantly she devoted the last twenty years of her life taking care of her mom and dad.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Sue and to mourn her passing include her son: Tommy (Janis) Baker of London, KY; two grandchildren: Evan Baker and Ean Baker of London, KY; mother: Elma Brown of Browning Fork; six brothers: Steve (Glenna) Brown of Johnstown, OH, Roland (Sandy) Brown, Lonnie (Sonja) Brown, Chester (Melanie) Brown Jr., Aaron (Belinda) Brown all of Browning Fork, Darren Brown of Matewan; two sisters: Lola (Oscar) Keen and Kristy Brown both of Browning Fork; many nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. Funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Nagy and Bro. Timer May officiating.

Burial will follow at the Brown Family Cemetery, Browning Fork, WV.
