Chris owned her own cleaning business for over 40 years and was well valued by her clients, many of whom became close friends. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in New Carlisle, and she loved her church family. Chris was always thinking of others, and generously gave of her time, love, and resources to many. Not only did she raise her own children, but many of the neighborhood children considered her to be their "Mom" as well. Chris was the glue that held the family together, and her love for Christ was modeled to others on a daily basis. Her greatest joy was her family, and she loved them dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Chris is survived by a son, Edward Lee Robertson; three daughters, Pamela (Tommy) Hall, Anna Mae (Billy) Martin, and Carol (Tim) Arden; five grandchildren, Ben (Sarah) Jones, Natalie Jones, Crystal (James) Moore, Chris (Morgan) Robertson, and Scotty (Teia) Robertson; five great grandchildren, Donovin, Addison, Zoë, Jimmy, Jerrod and a great granddaughter, Emma Jo, on the way; a special "daughter," Sheila Davis; a sister, Brenda (Doug) Scott; a brother, Sam (Shirley) Wells, and her extended family and many good friends. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sandra Rochelle Robertson, and by nine brothers and sisters.
