Mr. Mark Edward Henderson, 59, of Tobaccoville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at his home. Mark was born January 2, 1960 in Forsyth Co. to Arthur James Henderson, Sr. and Amanda Phillips Henderson. He attended Gospel Light Baptist Church. He loved to collect Matchbox cars and enjoyed eating and swinging on the front porch swing of his home while listening to his radio. Mark will be fondly remembered as a friendly and loving brother and uncle, who never met a stranger. Mark is survived by his sisters, Linda Minor (Jerry) of Midway, Silvia Adams (Fred) of Tobaccoville, Mary Ann Mayberry (Eddie) of Tobaccoville; brother, Jimmy Henderson (Susie) of Midway; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 12 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park.
