Canton – Peggy A. Frank, 62, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.

A native of Lucas County, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Virgil Franklin and Dorothy Maude Blair Drummond. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet and Joan. Peggy had resided in Haywood County since 2013 and was an accountant for Cornerstone Medical group in Thomasville, North Carolina before retiring in 2012.

She is survived by her husband of six years, Michael Frank; one daughter, Linda Steffen of Kane, Pennsylvania; one son, Aaron Steffen of Canton; three step-daughters, Stephanie Lowe, Kimberly Dick and Julia Cerrato; one step-son, Shawn Winn; six sisters, Jean Shirey, Nancy Ross, Frances Drummond, Rebecca Klep, Virginia Oladle and Toni Pratt; and ten grandchildren.

At Peggy’s request, a private visitation will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SARGE’S Animal Rescue Foundation, 256 Industrial Park Drive, Waynesville, NC 28786.

The care of Mrs. Frank has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes and an online memorial register is available at “Obituaries” at www.wellsfuneralhome.com.
