Rutherford, Mary Anne, 'Anne', 70, of Valrico, passed away on December 17, 2018. Anne had a fierce loyalty to her family; she would do anything for them, especially her beloved grandchildren. She started the Navy Family Service Center in Ft Meade, Maryland. She was a dedicated social worker who specialized in youth and adolescents; she went on to become a therapist and continued to work with children and families. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cheri Rutherford; and brother, Tom Gatson. Anne is survived by her loving family and husband of 49 years, John Rutherford, sons, siblings, Cecelia (Mike) Grindel, Larry Gatson, Margaret (Mitch) Maggard, Tim (Gwen) Gatson, Theresa (Jack) Kelly, and John (Brenda) Gatson; grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
